In the making of window frames Barceff Ltd. uses glass from leading world manufacturers.
The glass pane is the main part of the window frame. That is why we have to choose them carefully according to your needs and requirements. Here are their types according to their function:
- optimum noise insulation – up to 45 dB with glass 4 mm thick in combination with 5 or 6 mm
- optimum sun protection – the tinted glass is suitable /blue, brown or green/ or glass with reflecting layer /so called stopsol/
- better heat insulation – glass pane with low emission glass:
K glass is with increased heat protection properties, lets through the short waves from the solar spectrum and reflect the heat in the room.
Ug /with aluminum distance unit/ reaches 1.1 W/m2.K
- better safety – through triplex, armored or hardened glass
- optimum price solution – glass pane White/White, filled with transparent float glass 4 mm thick, Ug = 2.1 W/m2.K

Important criteria for evaluation of glazing are:
U: Coefficient of passing through of heat – thermal insulation – influences heating
SF: Solar Factor (this is an indicator of the whole quantity of solar energy passing through the glass) – it is important for environmentalization
TL: Passing through of light (this coefficient shows the percentage quantity of light, passed through the window, in relation to the whole quantity emitted light) enables illumination.
Selectivity: Measures the correlation between light penetration and the solar factor of the glass. The high selectivity makes rooms independent of atmospheric influence.
